| Okay, I have a very interesting theory for you guys to consider.
The word ELDEST implies that there are at least THREE of whatever is older. In this case, we can assume that the title is refering to Selena's children. We know that Eragon and Murtagh are both her kids, but that's only two. If CP wanted to mean the "older of two", he would say ELDER or OLDER. ELDEST must mean that there are three children of Selena's!! CP is a veeeery gramatically correct person, there is no way he wouldn't catch it. Even if it slipped past him, he has AMAZING editors that are trained to noticed subtle gramatical errs such as this.
So now the question is, who is Selena's other kid? Nasuada?? A new character?? Murtagh's seceret twin?? I would guess that it will be a girl, since the other two (eragon and murty) are guys...
Any thoughts?
Oh, and why is this in the BRISINGR section?? Mods, maybe you could move it to the ELDEST section? | |
